Support for positioning building lintel has telescopic beam with levelling compensating insert

The support (1) is for positioning building lintel (2) on a building opening (3) in a wall (4). It has at least two beams (5,6) which are telescopic to provide a pre-set support surface width but variable length (L1). The outer beam section can be formed from a sheet of rigid material. A compensating section (7) fits over the smaller of the beams, with a fraction of its length but the same width as the larger section.
