PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make uncomplicated the switching operation for connections between multiple input ports and output ports of switches. SOLUTION: The flow control unit is for the multistage connection switch system which is constituted by connecting multiple switches, each having multiple input ports and output ports, in multiple stages and can selectively connect the input ports and output ports. In this case, the unit has multiple routing tables 71 and output port selecting circuits 72. The routing tables 71 contain port connection information showing the relation of connections between input ports and output ports of respective switches. The output port selecting circuits 72 selects output ports for sending receive data by sequence units of received data according to the port connection information of the routing tables 71 and transmission destination information indicating the transmission destinations of the receive data. |
