PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically provide information having document structures different by readers by accessing link set information, evaluating it according to a link rule, and generating display data to be displayed in a document browser. SOLUTION: While a hypertext document is displayed on the document browser, an operator sends a next page request to a document server side together with additional information (S401). The document server having obtained the next page request reads in the template of the hypertext document of the next page and displays connection destinations included in the next page (S403 to 405). When a display data generating part generates display data, an output part passes the display data and updated additional information to the document server. The document server embeds the display data and updated additional information into the next page and sends them out to the document browser side, which displays them and finishes the process (S407, 409, and 410).
