The ESP regulator has hierarchically organized basic functions including at least one vehicle dynamic or GMR regulator and an ABS system and further basic functions, e.g. ASR, MSR, etc., whereby the GMR regulator is superior to the other basic functions or systems and computes an additional yaw moment. The GMR regulator computes additional resultant longitudinal and/or lateral forces that are evaluated as correction values for the yaw moment, longitudinal and/or lateral forces computed by the subordinate basic functions or systems. An Independent claim is also included for a vehicle dynamic regulator, esp. with an ESP regulator.
