PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a fatigue strength decrease and a weight increase of a rotary body and restrict a change of a balance state after the rotary body is corrected to balance by deforming a power transmission-related part set to the rotary body and correcting the balance. SOLUTION: When a propeller shaft 1 as a rotary body rotates, a shaft 2 as a power transmission-related part rotates centering a rotational center axis A1. A dynamic in balance of the propeller shaft 1 is first measured, based on which the shaft 2 is deformed, thereby correcting an imbalance. A material and a size of the shaft 2 are selected and set to obtain a torsional strength conforming to a power to be transmitted. Therefore, deformation of the propeller shaft 1 is restricted as much as possible even if the propeller shaft 1 comes in touch with an object in an assembly process after correction or during transportation. Moreover, the shaft 2 is a functional element of the propeller shaft 1, thereby eliminating the need for setting a special part.
