PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize a power of each wavelength constituting a wavelength multiple light to be received by equipping a level monitoring part and the like for monitoring each optical power of at least one main optical signal included in a reception wavelength multiple light, to output the result as a reception level monitoring signal. SOLUTION: Light branching devices 37-1 to 37-n partly branch each of wavelength division multiple(WDM) main optical signals from a light wavelength separating part 36 for power level monitoring. A level monitoring part 40 detects a power level of this branched light. Information of a WDM main signal transmission level of its own device is inputted to a level processing part 41 from a level monitoring part 34 and information of the power level of the WDM main signal received from a facing device is inputted from a level monitoring optical signal reception part 39, respectively. In the level processing part 41, a control signal which uniformizes a power level of each wavelength which constitutes the WDM main signal on a reception side is generated on the basis of these pieces of input information and is supplied to a WDM optical transmission part 29. |
