<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve health and safety of electrical workers. SOLUTION: The flame-resistant insulating flap relates to the protection of electrical workers in terms of health and safety and is protector for electric shock accident prevention for use in live-line work on a high-voltage charging paths. The flap protects the back of the head and the neck of a worker against electric shock injuries caused through contact with or approach to an electrical path or electrical burn due to short-circuiting or near-by arcing. In, the flap is attached to an electrical safety hat (helmet). The flame-resistant insulating flap 8 is provided both with flame resistance accomplished by aramid fibers and with insulation attained by flame-resistant fluorine films and insulating films. The flap is fastened using a planar adhesive tape male 5 and a planar adhesive tape female 6.</p> |
