The disc is a so called scratch disc that is used to generate additional sound effects. This is in the form of a compact disc (2) that is placed on a turntable and rotated at a constant speed by a motor. The disc is accessed by a sensor (12) and the output is fed to a processor (16) to be used with a CD (14).
