MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR IC SOCKET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for an IC socket allowing very easy design while increasing the flexibility for design and the printed board designed for a trial production can be used as a board for mass production without alteration. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure for an IC socket, an IC 1 is housed in a socket for connecting a bump 1a or a lead of the IC 1 and a pattern of a printed board 2 via a probe in a socket. A pad is formed on the printed board in a position corresponding to screw insertion holes 3a', 3" of the socket and a nut 9 is fix to the pad for screwing a screw 6 in the nut to attach the socket to the printed board.
