PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for the electrostatic charge image developing toner capable of providing the toner superior in releasability at the time of fixing the toner for low energy fixing and superior in blocking resistance and flexability and restrained from occurrence of staining a carrier and photoreceptor and heat rollers without causing an offset phenomenon. SOLUTION: This toner additive comprises (a) at least one kind of resin selected from a group comprising aromatic and alicyclic hydrocarbon resins having a number average molecular weight of 300-2,000 measured by GPC and a softening point of 120 deg.C-160 deg.C measured by a ring-and-ball method, and (b) a chain hydrocarbon wax, and the electrostatic charge image developing toner is formed by using it.
