PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance dielectric strength of an off-through circuit by reducing electrostatic energy applied to a high frequency switching FET without deteriorating a high frequency component of a frequency characteristic of a signal obtained on an output side. SOLUTION: The off-through circuit for a television receiver and a video device is provided with a high frequency switching FET 1, a switching diode 4 that is connected to a gate of the FET 1 and operated by on/off of a constant voltage, and the diode 4 is provided with a 2nd switching diode 14, and a grounding resistive element 15 or an inductive element 16. Thus, the electrostatic energy applied to the high frequency switching FET is considerably reduced so as to enhance the dielectric strength of the off-through circuit.
