METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING NETWORK SCANNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the cost and to eradicate bad operability impression to a user by starting a new job in spite of the execution state of a send-out job for image data if the new job is instructed while a document image is not read when image data obtained by reading the document image are sent out to a network. SOLUTION: When the user instructs a job through a console panel 11 while a scan controller 13 is performing a converting process for image data and data transfer, the network controller 14 sends a job pending instruction to the scan controller 13. The scan controller 13 which receives the job pending instruction holds the process of the job and controls an image read part 12 to read the document. The image read part 12 after reading the document transfers the image data obtained by the read to the scan controller 13 in order through a data bus 15.
