PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible for a player in a simple constitution, to operate in a style of operation similar to the natural instrument as well as to execute control of musical sound with a many variation of performance by fitting a sensor for detecting impacts on the palm and using the signal for detecting the impacts from the sensor as a signal for controlling musical sound. SOLUTION: A sensor 8 on the palm is constituted with an impact sensor 8c arranged so as to be fitted at a lower position of the little finger side of the palm with a sensor fitting material formed of bands 8A and 8B. When a player executed an operation to hold and swing a stick 12, a part of the grip of the stick 12 hits the sensor 8 on the palm by moving up and down in the X direction according to the swing of the stick 12. A note-on signal by detection of this impact sensor 8c is outputted and further a sound volume control signal is outputted so as to sound with the sound volume corresponding to the scale of the detected value of the impact sensor 8c. Thus, the player can raise (or lower) the sound volume gradually. Consequently, the player can control the musical sound by a simple operation. |
