<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the loosing of a tape at the time of reverse operation in traveling in pressurized contact with pinch rollers. SOLUTION: A pair of reel turntables 34 and 35 are freely movably disposed in a first position for a large-sized tape cassette C1 and a second position for a small-sized tape cassette. A reel turntable rotating force transmission mechanism M for rotating a pair of these reel turntables 34 and 35 is constituted to have a first oscillating arm 44 and second oscillating arm 53 which oscillate in correspondence to the rotating direction of a capstan motor 38, first oscillating gears 45 and 46 to be intermeshed with large cassette idler gears 47 and 48 which are supported at the first oscillating arm 44 and rotate the reel turntables 34 and 35 positioned to the first position by the oscillation of the first oscillating arm 44 and second oscillating gear 54 to be intermeshed with gears 49 and 50 which are supported by the second oscillating arm 53, are rotated by the rotation of a drive gear 43 and are fixed to the reel turntables 34 and 35 positioned to a second position by the oscillation of the second oscillating arm 53.</p> |
