摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wavelength dispersion-measuring apparatus which can measure a dispersion amount even when input and output terminals are present at different positions as in an existing optical fiber on a field. SOLUTION: An optical circulator 105 outputs a light signal from a light transmission part 101 to an optical fiber 106 to be measured and outputs a signal from the optical fiber 106 to a light reception part 109. An optical circulator 107 outputs the signal from the optical fiber 106 to an optical fiber 108 and outputs a signal from the optical fiber 108 to the optical fiber 106. The light reception part 109 converts the light signal reciprocated and transmitted in the optical fiber 106 to an electric signal. A delay time at the reciprocation and transmission of the light signal in the optical fiber 106 is obtained on the basis of the result of a phase comparison by a phase comparator 110 between an output signal of the light reception part 109 and an output signal of a light transmission part 101.
