PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a function of preventing imperfect connection fault of wiring. SOLUTION: A female housing 10 is provided with a retainer 30 mounted from its top, and a protrusion 38 is formed on the front end part of a locking part 32 formed on the retainer 30. A female pressure contact terminal 20 to be inserted to the lowest cavity 11 displayed in the diagram is in such a condition that its tip part is bent upward, while a wire 28 is not pressed on a crimp blade 26F as far as the regular pressure contact depth. When the retainer 30 is driven into the locking position and the protrusion 38 abuts on the bent tip part 29, the wire 28 is straightened. Thereby the wire 28 can have a satisfactory pressure contact condition.
