PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive apparatus which can shorten a judgment time without the fear of generating errors such as shutting communi cation signals or the like. SOLUTION: An optical fiber pair identifier 1 includes a judging apparatus body 5 in which an optical fiber conductor 3 can be arranged in a dark room of an enclosed space 2, a pair of conductor support members 6a and 6b set to the judging apparatus body 5 which can support two separated points of the optical fiber conductor 3, and a conductor bending means 7 set to the judging apparatus body 5 for pressing between two points of the optical fiber conductor 3 to bend the optical fiber conductor. Moreover, the judging apparatus body 5 has a peep opening part 8 through which a bend part 3a of the optical fiber conductor 3 is seen.
