PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a drawing process for an intermediate code at high speed, to shorten the process time accompanying drawing switching delay, and to efficiently perform the drawing process for the intermediate code by performing an interruption process by a CPU in parallel to a drawing process by a dedicated drawing circuit which performs drawing by using the intermediate code in advance. SOLUTION: An image forming circuit 105 by the intermediate code initiates an interruption and a CPU 101 executes an interruption processing routine. The CPU 101 saves registers in a stack and places itself in a hold state. The image forming circuit 105 resets the hold state of the CPU 101, holds its drawing, completes drawing by the CPU 101, and performs the drawing when the drawing is released from being held. The CPU 101 performs the drawing when the holding is reset from the image forming circuit 105, releases the image forming circuit 105 from being held, and reloads the registers to exit from the interruption routine.
