PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make assembly and disassembly of a control box exceedingly simple and reduce slack provided for preventing tension from being applied to a conductor wired between a power control unit and the control box during assembly. SOLUTION: In this engine power generator, projections 106, 106 and hooks 107, 107 are formed on the front crossbeam 37 and the upper reverse face of a control box 22, respectively. Installation holes are formed on both sides of the control box 22 and a cyclo converter unit 23 is provided below the control box 22. The installation holes on the control box 22, connected by wire to the cyclo converter unit 23 and suspended by engagement between the projections 106, 106 and hooks 107, 107, are firmly fixed to lugs 117, 117 on vertical portions 24, 25.
