PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a load to an arithmetic unit when a bucket is constituted so as to avoid interference with the operating part thereof in a back hoe. SOLUTION: This back hoe is provided with a vertical angle sensor 36 detecting the vertical angle a1 of the bottom 4 against a revolving base 2 and a sensor 38 detecting an angle a3 in the front and back directions of an arm 5. When a detected value of the sensor 38 detecting an angle in the front and back directions of the arm against a detected value of the vertical angle sensor 36 for the bottom reaches a predetermined value, it is judged that the bucket 6 has reached a position separated as far as a specified distance from the operating part 15 and an operation to scraping side of the arm 5 is restrained.
