<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To substantially prevent curving of a hit ball in spite of a long-sized golf club and consequently to enable even an average golfer to obtain distance inherent to a long-sized club. SOLUTION: The golf club comprises a head 1, a shaft 3 and a grip 5. The overall length of the golf club is >=47 inches. The volume of the head 1 is >=270 cc. The centroid distance is 38 to 70 mm. The shaft is composed of a laminate of fiber reinforced resin layers partially varying in their fiber angle in a circumferential direction in such a manner that a twist is simultaneously generated when the shaft is deflected. The weight of the shaft is 40 to 65 g.</p> |
