TWEEZERS FOR OPHTHALMOLOGY, CASE FOR TWEEZERS AND INTRAOCULAR INSERTION LENS, AND INSERTION SYSTEM OF LENS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tweezers for ophthalmology capable of folding a deformable lens for intraocular insertion safely and easily with excellent operability, a case for the tweezers and the deformable lens for intraocular insertion, and an insertion system of the lens. SOLUTION: This system is provided with tweezers 1 in which a deformable thin-platelike holding member is provided in a tip part and a lens case 6 storing a lens 5 for intraocular insertion in a condition in which it is held by the tweezers 1. A projection 8 with which an optical part of the lens does not come into contact and which is longer than a diameter of the optical part of the lens 5 is provided below the optical part of the lens 5 for intraocular insertion held in the case 6 in the case, and the insertion system of the lens for intraocular insertion is constituted by the lens case 6 holding and storing the lens and the tweezers for ophthalmology which is engaged with the lens 5 and the case 6 and inserts the lens.
