PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive compsn. which can impart a desirable appearance when a coating is applied, while effectively sealing discontinuous parts by decreasing water to be absorbed and has a solvent resistance. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises a radioactive ray polymerizable vinyl compd. material having a vinyl monomer which can provide a homopolymer having a solubility parameter in the range of 10-14 (cal/cm3)0.5, a polymerization initiator for radioactive ray polymerization of the vinyl compd. material, a thermosetting epoxy-contg. material and a heat curing agent for the epoxy-contg. material. The vinyl monomer pref. has a solubility in water at a concn. of <=0.2 wt.% at 25 deg.C.
