UTILIZATION OF BY-PRODUCTS IN MACADAMIZATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for unitizing the muddy water cake or rock powder generating as a rock-crushing by-product in a concrete aggregate- producing installation and a method for utilizing the by-products from the stone crushing as fine aggregate for concrete. SOLUTION: A calcium compound is added to muddy cake or stone powder and mixed to obtain a muddy raw material. Then, the muddy cake is press- molded to solidified green body and the green body is hydrothermally treated to form the solidified products. The resultant solidification products are crushed and classified and admixed to the raw materials for fine aggregates in the aggregate production factory and is utilized as fine aggregate for concrete.
