PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable free use of tray and container box even under armrest use by constituting an armrest with a container body which opens upward and a cover body which covers this, and making it possible to open the cover by sliding and to reverse the cover on the cover body opening while it is opened. SOLUTION: In a front seat S an armrest 1 is provided on a side face of a vehicle room, the armrest 1 is provided horizontally at a vertically intermediate position of the side face of the seat S, and comprises a slender container body 2 downside and covers 3 and 4 covering the body 2. The covers 3 and 4 comprise a large front cover 3 and a small rear cover 4, and the opening of the body 2 divided into front and rear is covered by these covers 3 and 4. The front cover 3 slides forward to open, and under this condition paper T such as tissue box B contained in the front opening 21 can be stored. The front cover 3 is made by molding a resin material in a thick-wall hollow plate by blow molding or the like. |
