PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a sealed packaged item to a predetermined temperature simply inexpensively without a fear of damaging a packaging container in a normal pressure atmosphere in a heating method in which the sealed packaged item enclosed in the packaging container is heated with microwave radiation. SOLUTION: A sealed packaged item 100 sealingly enclosed in a packaging container is stored in a storing case 71. A microwave is emitted to the sealed packaged item 100 from the outside of the storing case 71 in normal pressure atmosphere to heat the sealed packaged item 100 up to a predetermined temperature. In this case, the storing case 71, at least a part of which, for example, parts 711A, 711B of a bottom wall of the case are formed of micro-wave transmitting material to provide a storing case 71 having a storing space for holding entire sealed packaged item to be stored almost without any space. Radiation of microwave is effected through wave guides MP1, MP2 at the bottom wall portions 711A, 711B. |
