PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable tension control even when changing a line speed/output side speed. SOLUTION: This accumulator control device is provided with: an input side speed control means 11 for controlling the speed of an input side roll on the basis of a line speed reference signal, an output side speed control means 14 for controlling the speed of an output side roll on the basis of an output side speed reference signal, an output side tension control means 16 for correcting the output side speed reference signal by a tension correcting signal obtained from the output side tension setting reference and an actual output side tension value, an elevating speed control means 20 for controlling the elevating speed of an elevating roll group by comparing the reference signals of the line speed and the output side speed with each other, an input side tension control means 19 for correcting a comparison signal of the reference signals of the line speed and the output side speed by a tension correcting signal obtained from the input side tension setting reference and an actual input side tension value, line speed and output side speed change ratio calculating means 23, 25 for calculating the change ratios of the reference signals of the line speed and the output side speed, and correcting means 24, 26 for correcting the output side tension setting reference by calculating the tension difference between the output side and the input side of an accumulator on the basis of the change ratio of the line speed and the output side speed.
