PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-component room-temperature-storing sealing compound composition which has a high moisture-barrier property and a good shelf stability, cures immediately when heated and gives a cured product having good physical properties. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (a) a polyisobutylene compound having an alkenyl group, (b) a compound having at least two hydrosilyl groups within a molecule, (c) a platinum catalyst and (d) a compound which inhibits the hydrosilylation-promoting effect of the platinum catalyst at an ordinary temperature but not at an elevated temperature. Preferably, the component (d) is chosen from the group consisting of a thiophene compound, an isocyanide compound, a cyclic thioether compound, a cyclic azoether compound, an imino compound and a polymer which contains more than one sulfur, nitrogen or phosphorus atom-containing functional groups which form complexes with platinum atoms per molecule and has an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 200,000.
