PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure rinsing performance, and prevent remaining of foam even when a detergent of less foam breaking effect is used in a washing machine in which washing water is circulated for washing and rising. SOLUTION: A washing-cum-dehydration tank 2 rotatably disposed in an outer tank 1 is driven by a motor 5, and water is sprayed from an upper part of the washing-cum-dehydration tank 2 into the washing-cum-dehydration tank 2 by rotation of it. By a control device 13, the actions of the motor 5, a water supply valve 10, a drain valve 12, etc., are controlled, and this control means 13 executes a first process where a rotation number of the washing-cum- dehydration tank 2 is set at that for spraying water from the upper part, a second process comprising water injecting rinsing where water is replaced, and a third process where the rotation number of the washing-cum-dehydration tank 2 is set at that without spraying water from the upper part in this order.
