PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow R-machining at both side ends at the same time, no matter how the width of a steel plate may be. SOLUTION: A shearing device includes die sets 13, 14 for R-machining at both front end sides of a steel plate 12 in its carrying direction and die sets 15, 16 for R-machining at both rear end sides, a pair of side positioning pins 18-21 for positioning the right side face of the steel plate 12 provided on the carry-in and carry-out sides of the die sets 13-16 and end positioning pins 22, 23 provided between each of the pair of die sets 13, 14 and each of the pair of die sets 15, 16 in such a manner as to be movable forward and backward. The die sets 14, 16 can be moved perpendicular to the carrying direction.
