PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually recognize a mark or the like on the surface of a golf ball without opening a packaging body to whichever direction the mark or the like on the surface of the golf ball in the packaging body may turn. SOLUTION: A golf ball packaging body is composed of a pair of holding members 6 formed of transparent material having semispherical cup sections 2 and a ring-like flange 4 arranged around the circumference of the semispherical cup sections 2. Then, the surfaces of the flanges of both holding members are superimposed each other under a state in which the semispherical cup sections are oppositely faced to each other, and a golf ball 10 is stored in a spherical storing section 8 formed by both semispherical cup sections.
