PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and a system for print which do not force user's complicated operation and prevent unnecessary consumption of a print form. SOLUTION: The login name of the user is added into print environment information presented to a print instruction generation means 103, which transmits a print instruction from an application program 102 operated on a host computer 100 to a printer 101, by a present print environment management part 105, and print environment information to which the login name of the user is added is stored in a print environment storage means 106.
