<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mouse which is superior in portability by freely adjusting the length of the cord by arranging an elastic member which accumulates a force when the cord is drawn out of the mouse, and releasing the force accumulated in the elastic member and then automatically winding and storing the cord in the mouse. SOLUTION: In this mouse 10, when the cord 40 is drawn out, a spool 23 rotates and a spring is wound to accumulate a force. At this time, the spool 23 is stopped from rotating when a stopper engages a cut part 23c and then the cord is held as it is without being drawn in a case even when slackened. When a stopper knob 27c is pushed, the stopper is released from engaging the cut 23c and the spool 23 becomes free to rotate and rotates reversely to the drawing-out direction of the cord 40 with the force of the spring, so that the cord 40 is wound around the spool 23 and automatically stored in the case. When the mouse is carried, the cord 40 needs not be bundled and the portability is superior.</p> |
