PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent both production of normal sounds and the deterioration of the driving efficiency of a vibrating motor, having a deformed mode degenerate type vibrator caused by the vibration of a base member at driving of the motor. SOLUTION: A vibrating motor is provided with a vibrator 11, which generates elliptical motions which are the combined results of excited longitudinal vibrations and flexural vibrations in driving force extracting sections 17a and 17b, a relatively moving member 12, a first base member 13. The motor is also provided with a pressurizing and support member 14, a second base member 15, and a vibration absorbing member 16 which is provided between the relatively moving member 12 and a second base member 15. The vibration absorbing member 16 absorbs the vibrations of the relatively moving member 12 produced by the elliptical motions generated by the vibrator 11. |
