PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a caulking integral property between a boot and a boot can by providing a caulking lip of a large diameter in the boot, and eliminating material to reduce effective rigidity of the boot material. SOLUTION: A plurality of cutouts 60 are formed on a caulking lip 51, and each cutout 60 is dispersed at the same redially directional position from an axis 42, along an outer periphery of the caulking lip 51. Each cutout 60 is disposed at clearances with a pattern dispersed in the radial direction enclosing an outer periphery of the caulking lip 51. In a boot 38, effective rigidity of a thermoplastic material is reduced by reducing the material of the caulking lip 51 due to the cutout 60. The caulking lip 51 has the same characteristic as an improved type radial-direction spring, and a characteristic is improved, as well as improving compression performance. It is thus possible to improve integration of caulking seal between the caulking lip 51 of the boot 38 and an edge part with the flange of the boot can.
