PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor camera system for which it is judged whether monitor cameras are normally operated or not. SOLUTION: A plurality of monitor camera images are transmitted through a network in the monitor camera system. The system is provided with an alarm transfer part 16 for executing centralized control in the transmission of the images on the network, which are outputted from a plurality of monitor cameras and the alarm transfer part is provided with a monitored part information arithmetic part 29 for processing information expressing the states of the monitor cameras, identifying the abnormal operation of the monitor cameras and outputting alarm. Then the camera which is not normally operated is identified from the ones for centralized control.
