<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gyroscope for reducing the size, enhancing the detection sensitivity and lowering the driving voltage of a device. SOLUTION: The gyroscope 1 comprises a tuning fork 2 having a plurality of legs 7 and a supporting part 8 made of a conductive material, upper and lower glass substrates 5, 6 clamping the tuning fork 2, a plurality of electrodes 3 for driving respective legs 7 disposed on the upper surface side of the tuning fork 2, and a plurality of detection electrodes 4a, 4b. Each leg 7 is provided with two pairs of detection electrodes 4a, 4b disposed oppositely to the forward end parts of each leg 7 on the upper and lower face sides of the tuning fork 2.</p> |
