PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to surely adhere labels to the prescribed positions of an adherend by forming the entire circumferential edge of the adhesive surfaces of label base materials as non-adhesive parts having no adhesive power or weakly adhesive parts having the adhesive power weaker than that of the entire circumferential edge. SOLUTION: The label 10 is adhered to the release agent coated surface of a releasable mount 20 and is provided with the adhesive only in the central part of the adhesive surface 12 (rear surface) of the label base material 11. The entire peripheral edge of the adhesive surface 12 of the label base material 11 is formed as the non-adhesive part 12A having no adhesive power. The entire peripheral edge of the adhesive surface 12 of the label base material 11 in the label 10 may also be formed as the weakly adhesive part and the adhesive power of the entire peripheral edge may be made weaker than the adhesive power of the central part. In this embodiment, an acrylic adhesive having the relatively weak adhesive power is used as the weakly adhesive part. The weakly adhesive part may otherwise be obtained by forming the non-adhesive part 12A to a net form by application of varnish, etc., only at the entire peripheral edge of the same adhesive surface. The weakly adhesive part suffices if the peeling strength at the entire peripheral edge of the label 10 is relatively weaker than the peeling strength of the non-peripheral edge.
