PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a portable telephone, having a music data fetching function for allowing a holder of the portable telephone to easily enjoy music data wherever the holder he may be and at whatever time by supporting the functions of fetching, storing and reproducing music data, in addition to original voice and/or character speech communication functions to the portable telephone. SOLUTION: This telephone is supported at least by a control means having functions of calling out, incoming call, disconnection and line establishment and data transfer control of a telephone line, a radio means which has a transmitting and receiving functions for a signal with a database center through a portable telephone line, a transmitting means which transfers selected music data information to a database center for music data and commands music data distribution, a receiving means which receives music data transmitted by the database center, a displaying means which shows information about the music data received, a selecting means capable of selecting processing of music data storage, music data reproduction or music data disposal processing on the basis of information about the displayed music data, a storing means storing music data and/or an expanding means capable of transferring music data to a reproducing means. |
