The circuit comprises a differential amplifier providing feedback, with two such circuits forming a quadrupole. The complex impedance correcting element enables production of a quadrupole used for transmitting both analogue and digital signals. The circuit comprises a feedback loop which is isolated with respect to direct current and essentially comprises a differential amplifier (14). The first input of the differential amplifier is connected to the output of the correction circuit, and the second input of the amplifier is connected to ground. The output of the amplifier is connected to the input of the correction circuit. The quadripole which may be used for wire telecommunications comprises two such correction elements (10) mounted in a symmetrical head-tail configuration.
