PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boost-type switching power supply for achieving soft switching with a simple configuration, reducing recovery current, and suppressing noise. SOLUTION: A second magnetic element 6 is arranged between a switching means 7 and a first magnetic element 2, a second capacitor 8 being connected to the first magnetic element 2 in parallel with the switching means 7 is provided, a second capacitor 8 is charged by a current from the first magnetic element 2 while the switching means 7 is open, current from the first magnetic element 2 to the switching means 7 is allowed to pass through the second magnetic element 6 at the initial stage of the closing operation of the switching means 7, thus suppressing the rise of current that flows through the switching means 7 and the recovery current is suppressed. |
