PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor allowing a system to undergo degradation drive by detecting the generation of any fatal failure in a processor, and separating the processor from the system. SOLUTION: This information processor is provided with plural microprocessors, an ID register 2 for identifying the microprocessor, an error handler, and a non-volatile memory 7 equipped with a processor degradation instruction region 13 for storing the degradation instruction information of the microprocessors, and a processor table 11 for starting a system in which the information of the microprocessors is stored. When any fatal error is generated in the microprocessor, the error handler obtains the ID information of the microprocessor from the ID register 2, and controls the restart of the system by turning on a flag corresponding to the obtained ID information in the processor degradation instruction region of the non-volatile memory 7. At the time of the restart of the system, a BIOS 9 deletes the microprocessor whose bit in the processor degradation instruction region of the non-volatile memory is turned on from the processor table and starts the system.
