PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform both functions of primary transfer and secondary transfer, to arrange the page order of paper ejected and also to improve productivity and toner consumption efficiency at the time of both-side printing in an image forming device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a carrying path 32 at which a toner image on photoreceptive drums 1-4 is directly transferred an a paper and a carrying path 33 at which the toner image is secondarily transferred on the paper by a secondary transfer roller 30 through a transfer belt 5, and the primary transfer or the secondary transfer is selectively switched and used in deciding whether the image forming surface of the paper is ejected facing upward or facing downward, whether it is a color image or a back-and-white image or according to the level of image density or the like. Thus, the page order of the paper is arranged without a paper reverse unit so that the productivity at the time of both-side printing is enhanced. |
