The cat litter tray uses water-soluble litter produced from recycled paper. It comprises a trough (1) with an outlet pipe (5) at the bottom which can be connected to the outflow of a wash basin or directly to a waste pipe. A washing device (18) can be activated to wash excrement and litter into the outlet pipe and thence into the main drainage system.
