A composite panel comprising: a plurality of inner layers wherein at least two layers (2, 3) are each constructed of an upper and lower surface (7, 8) and a plurality of spaced walls (9) connecting said upper and lower surfaces (7, 8) where at least one wall of said at least two layers is arranged substantially perpendicular with respect to at least one wall of a further layer of said at least two layers (2, 3); A first bonding means for bonding each layer to an adjacent layer in said plurality of inner layers (2, 3); an upper and lower surface (5, 6); and a second bonding means for bonding said upper and lower surface (5, 6) to said plurality of inner layers (2, 3) forming a substantially rigid multi-layered composite panel.
