The invention relates to a bending device for the working rolls of a hot-rolling frame, comprising hydraulic piston cylinder units which transmit bending forces to the chucks of the working rolls, using guide elements. The invention aims to improve a bending device of this type, in such a way that the actuating forces which are to be generated are produced by a piston cylinder unit with dimensions small enough to be easily mounted into blocks which are to be provided in the windows of the frame, whilst retaining a free choice of the bearings for the support rolls. This is achieved by a double-action hydraulic piston cylinder unit (4, 5), provided for each block, whose two ends are connected to the guide elements (12, 13). Said guide elements (12, 13) encompass the free ends of the catches (20, 21) of the working-roll chucks (18, 19) on both sides by an axial displacement of the guide grooves (22, 23) which accommodate the working rolls (16, 17). |
