According to the present invention there is provided cosmetic compositions comprising: (a) fragrance; and (b) greater than about 1.2 %, by weight, cyclic oligosaccharide having an average degree of substitution of at least about 1.6. The compositions of the present invention provide a long-lasting fragrance while at the same time having a 'burst' of fragrance on application.
