PURPOSE: A remote image transmission device is provided to make a security and a monitoring effect by using a cordless telephone, and performs image processing about various image data at a remote position. CONSTITUTION: A remote image transmission device includes a camera(1), a speaker(3), a sensor(4), a lamp(5), and alarm(6), a video capture and audio I/O part(10), a data processor(20), a radio data transmitter(30), a wire data transmitter(40), and a remote monitoring computer(90). The sensor senses a fire generation, an intrusion detection, and gas detection, and inputs a sensor control signal. The video capture and audio I/O part supports many camera channels, supports many sensor inputs, receives analog image signal and analog audio signal, and captures audio and video. The data processor compresses a digital image signal, controls a peripheral device and modem, and provides a digital data packet. The radio data transmitter receives a digital data packet being a monitored area information when cutting a cable line path, and transmits a RF data having a remote-area information of a monitored area by using a cordless telephone or CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) modem. The wire data transmitter receives a digital data packet, and transmits a cable data by using a telephone network modem. The remote monitoring computer monitors and controls an image, an audio, and a control data. Therefore, although a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) cable is cut off, an image and data can be controlled at a remote position by using a cordless telephone and CDMA modem.
