PURPOSE: An apparatus for separating carrier element of a wet printer is provided to reuse the carrier element. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for separating carrier element of a wet printer includes a carrier storing container for separating and storing carrier element having different specific gravity than water from carrier and water mixed solution collected in a collection container through the processes of absorbing, heating and condensing liquid carrier element remaining in a photosensitive belt, a water storing container for storing water separated from the mixed solution of the collection container, a first discharging pipe(31) for discharging the mixed solution from the collection container, second and third discharging pipes(32,33) branched from the first discharging pipe to the carrier storing container and the water storing container, a pump(34) installed in the first discharging pipe, first and second valves(36,37) respectively installed in the second and third discharging pipes, a solution discriminating sensor installed in the first discharging pipe for outputting the signals corresponding to the kinds of solution flew into the pipes, and a control part(60) discriminating the signals for controlling the valves to open any one valve and controlling the driving of the pump.
