BIAS TIRE REFORCED SIDE WALL

PURPOSE: A side wall reinforced bias tire extends the endurance life of a tire and improves a confidence in a product by reinforcing a side wall and suppressing a bumpy phenomenon generated at the side wall. CONSTITUTION: A stiffness plate formed out of a thin metal plate(50) is mounted in the inside of a side wall. The metal plate(50) having many through holes(51) is mounted between a side tread and a carcass. The thickness(t) of the metal plate(50) is formed within the limits of 0.2 or 0.5mm. The diameter(D) of the through hole(51) is formed about 10mm. Therefore, the breakage and sudden blowout of the side wall due to an external impact is prevented by installing the stiffness plate in the inside of the side wall which is a very weak part under an external impact. Thus, the bumpy phenomenon of the side wall generated due to non-uniformity of a stress is suppressed because the rubber of the side wall is connected with each other by the through hole(51) of the metal plate(50).
